Dr. John Frank and Dr. Lou Holtz talk about their experiences in the NFL. Dr. Frank talks about the camaraderie he felt with the other football players.

Dr. Frank was always interested in becoming a doctor and the NFL became a unique experience for Dr. Frank before attending medical school.

Playing in the NFL was not only a pleasurable experience for Dr. Frank but a learning experience as well. The NFL taught Dr. Frank how to be the best he can be and how people have to work together to achieve reach a goal. This is an important skill when being a physician—the best doctors work with their patients.

Dr. Frank played in the Super Bowl and with his brief experience in the NFL, he showed hard work and dedication, even though sports wasn’t something he was serious about (so imagine how much dedication he must take for things he is serious about—like being a doctor and helping people). The fact that Dr. Frank was able to work hard to be able to play in the Super Bowl speaks to the dedication Dr. Frank has and is an important skill for being a good doctor.
